• Demonstrate the procedures for replacing gland packing.

VVM-3 Servicing a gate-valve

At the end of this module the Learner will be able to:

• Demonstrate parts and functions of a gate valve
• Demonstrate procedures for dismantling, inspecting and assembling a typical gate valve
• Describe typical hydrostatic testing procedures.
