• Describe their purpose and applications
• Apply basic safety rules during use
• Maintain pliers and grips

BHT-4 Cutting Tools

At the end of this module Learners will be able to:
• Use a hacksaw to cut metal in the correct manner (including blade selection)
• maintain a hacksaw in good working order
• Select appropriate file for metal work
• Apply correct filing techniques to mild steel
• Apply necessary safety rules in filing
• Identify typical cold chisels
• Correctly use a conventional cold chisel
