Ignorance in the use and handling of industrial gases can prove disastrous. This training programme will help reduce the risk of an incorrect action when handling or using packaged gases.
Targeted at Learners and Operators within Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines, the Gas Hazards Awareness programme concentrates on the identification and understanding of typical and common hazards associated with industrial gases.

1. An explanation of the 5 international hazard classification symbols used with packaged gases.
2. Explanation of hazards associated with:
• Flammable gases
• Oxidising gases
• Neutral or non-reactive gases
• Toxic and corrosive gases
